Partners Rebecca Allen and Denise Hood have been friends since they were nine. As their friendship developed, so too did their artistic skills. Rebecca became a children’s illustrator and Denise studied interior design, until they decided to join forces and put their talents to good use designing children’s rooms.

Beau Rêve offers a fully bespoke service, transforming walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, soft furnishings - you name it - into any child’s dream come true.

Each job is treated individually, and starts with a consultation. “If the child is old enough we will take them into consideration too” says Rebecca. “We find out things like their favourite colours, and design around that.” After everyone is happy with the designs, they get to work rooms - can take up to a month to complete, are incredibly durable, and can even be designed to move house with you.

Rebecca and Denise are happy to accommodate any tastes and themes through contemporary designs, but steer clear of copyright motifs. Past themes have included dinosaurs, pirates, fairies, jungles, aquariums and an Australian beach theme.
